Te Ara Whakamua – Accelerating Action

Te Ara Whakamua began as a response to the IWD 2025 call to accelerate action - a reminder that while the world is full of urgent causes, it can feel overwhelming to know where to start. This movement was created to cut through that noise, helping people recognise the small, everyday actions that - when taken together - create powerful collective change.
In February 2027, Te Ara Whakamua becomes a national roadshow, taking this kaupapa on the road to inspire and uplift communities across Aotearoa. Each event is an invitation to step into courage, strengthen connection, and ignite change - not through grand gestures, but through the consistent, meaningful choices we make every day.
Attendees leave with renewed clarity, practical pathways forward, and a sense of belonging to something bigger than themselves. Te Ara Whakamua is not just an event series - it’s a catalyst for empowered action and a movement toward a better future, together.
