Where Māori Land, Industry and Innovation Meet

'Te Arawa Arataua, also known as Te Arawa Primary Sector Inc. or TAPS, is a collective of Te Arawa organisations that own, control and/or administer more than 30,000ha of land used in the primary sector including agriculture, horticulture, forestry, geothermal and more.'

Be part of shaping the future.

We are pleased to announce that Te Arawa Arataua will be hosting the upcoming Te Arawa Arataua Māori Agribusiness Summit in September 2025 – a national two-day conference that brings together whenua Māori and iwi authorities, industry and government to tackle the critical issues facing Māori in the primary sector.

Organised to promote grass-roots participation, the event will be held in Rotorua and will blend keynote sessions, panels and case studies covering current issues such as climate change, trade and supply chains, collective strategy, and innovation.

Our vision is to chart a path forward—one grounded in kaupapa Māori, collaboration, and practical solutions. This summit is a rare opportunity for governors and management of whenua Māori and iwi authorities from around Aotearoa to come together and help shape a sustainable and prosperous future for Māori-led land enterprises.

More information including the programme, list of speakers and registration options will be released at the end of June 2025.
